Nollywood actress Regina Daniels expressed her joy over the reconciliation of her estranged parents, describing the event as a long-awaited moment of peace for her family. In a Facebook post on Thursday, Daniels revealed that her parents, whom she characterized as “sworn enemies,” had reunited solely for her well-being. She wrote: “Two concluded sworn enemies reuniting with no negative ulterior motive other than their daughter’s happiness. And I dare question God for putting me in this situation?” The actress further revealed that her parents are currently together in Abuja, working jointly to secure the release of her brother, Sammy, who is allegedly being held in detention

Expressing fierce determination regarding her brother’s situation, Daniels vowed: “Sammy’s detainment is taking way too long but we will get him out even if I have to march there myself and create a storm! Since they want me!” Daniels also offered high praise for her newly reconciled parents, describing her father as “one of the biggest lawyers back in the day” and her mother, actress Rita Daniels, as “a powerhouse” who would stop at nothing for her children.

Daniels praised her family’s background, writing, “My father is a lawyer. Actually one of the biggest back in the day but Nigeria happened. I’ll tell you more about my father later and my mother? She’s a powerhouse!” She emphasized their shared dedication: “They would do anything for their children.” The actress concluded by expressing her deep satisfaction with the reunion: “I love you, mom and dad! This is all I actually ever wanted.”

Regina Daniels’ post about her parents’ reconciliation arrives amid intense public interest surrounding her troubled marriage to politician and businessman, Ned Nwoko. The controversy escalated when PUNCH Online reported in October that Daniels hinted at domestic violence, with a viral video showing her in distress, stating: “In Ned Nwoko’s house, I am nothing. But in my house, I am a queen. Not again. I can’t stand the violence, it’s too much.” This statement sparked widespread concern.

Nwoko responded by denying the violence allegations and instead counter-accusing Regina of “drug and alcohol abuse” as the core problem, adding that she was “uncontrollable” and required rehabilitation. In a related and more recent development, the actress has since vowed to fight for her children.
