BBNaija’s Tuoyo announced plans to take legal action against the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA). This follows his arrest during a raid on a Lagos nightclub last Sunday, October 26. NDLEA operatives had stormed the club in the early hours of Sunday, detaining Tuoyo, other clubgoers, and the owner. The agency claimed in a statement that the raid was executed based on a tip-off about a drug party being held at the location.
In a series of social media posts, Tuoyo raised the alarm about his arrest and further detailed how operatives allegedly assaulted him for using social media to report his detention. The reality star has now vowed to pursue legal action against the agency, stating in an Instagram post last night that he plans to sue the NDLEA for infringing on his rights.
